On March 9, cast member Oh Jihyun shared behind-the-scenes stories from filming the SBS reality show 'My Heart is Mongle-Mongle: Mongle Counseling Center' through her YouTube channel, revealing a memorable moment with Lee Hyori.
Oh Jihyun explained that she met Lee Hyori every week while filming the show and even received dating advice from the star. She said she was deeply impressed after seeing Lee Hyori in person. “I actually saw her in real life and was so amazed. Lee Hyori is incredibly beautiful. What’s surprising is that even with natural wrinkles, she still looks so beautiful,” Oh said. “She has charisma and charm, and she is such a kind person. She treats people very well.”
Oh also shared how she began calling Lee Hyori “sister.” “My sister asked how I ended up calling her ‘sister,’” Oh said. “We went shopping together and I wanted to call her that. So I asked, ‘Hyori, can I call you sister?’ She replied very casually, ‘Of course.’ That’s just her personality. She even suggested we take photos together and took pictures on her own phone.”
Oh Jihyun then revealed that Lee Hyori even gave her the coat she had been wearing that day. “While we were taking photos, she noticed the coat she was wearing was too big for her,” Oh recalled. “She told me, ‘You wear it. It’s too big for me. You should take it.’”
Oh’s sister added that Jihyun still wears the coat today. She even showed a photo of Jihyun wearing the gifted coat and said, “How many people get to wear clothes given directly by Lee Hyori?” A caption in the video also revealed that Lee Hyori had reportedly thought from the moment she first met Jihyun that she wanted to give her the coat.
Oh Jihyun spoke warmly about the singer, saying, “She is refreshing and straightforward like soda, very kind, and her heart is warm like sunshine. She really feels like our older sister.” She also sent a heartfelt video message saying, “Hyori sister and Lee Sang Soon brother, I hope you are both doing well. Thank you for always supporting me, giving me coaching, and helping me feel confident in dating. I am very grateful for your kind encouragement. I hope you both stay happy and healthy all year long. I hope we can meet again someday. I miss you.”

Lee Hyori and her husband, musician Lee Sang Soon, appear on the show as counseling center hosts who guide and encourage the participants.
