Singer and actress IU has begun promoting the upcoming MBC drama 'Perfect Crown'.
On March 10 KST, IU shared the drama’s couple poster on her social media account, tagging her co star Byeon Woo Seok.
Earlier, MBC released the poster featuring the two actors together. The image highlights the characters Seong Hee Ju and Grand Prince Ian, who will work together to achieve their goals. In the poster, the two look in the same direction, conveying determination and a strong sense of purpose.
IU’s post comes exactly one month before the drama’s premiere, building anticipation for the upcoming series.
'Perfect Crown' is set in a fictional 21st century constitutional monarchy in Korea. The story follows a wealthy chaebol woman who possesses everything except noble status and a royal prince who has a title but nothing else. Their relationship develops into a romance that challenges social status and fate.
In the drama, IU plays Seong Hee Ju, a talented business leader known for her intelligence, striking appearance, and competitive spirit. Despite her many achievements, she faces limitations due to her commoner status and ultimately chooses a contract marriage in an effort to overcome those barriers.
Byeon Woo Seok portrays Grand Prince Ian (Lee Wan), a royal family member who lives with emotional restraint. As the younger son of the royal family, he must hide his true feelings and ambitions due to the constraints of his position.
'Perfect Crown' starring IU will premiere on April 10.
