The iconic variety show 'g.o.d’s Parenting Diary,' which took Korea by storm in 2000, is making a comeback with a brand-new season.
The new series will feature TXT (Tomorrow X Together) as its stars. At the recent ‘2026 MBC ADventure’ event held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Jamsil, Seoul, MBC unveiled its upcoming content lineup, including the reboot of TXT’s Parenting Diary. A promotional video displayed the title 'TXT’s Parenting Diary Reboot (Digital Series)' along with the phrase, “g.o.d’s Parenting Diary revives after 24 years,” signaling the return of the beloved format with a new generation of idols.
Originally, g.o.d’s Parenting Diary followed the daily life of the national idol group god as they cared for baby Jaemin, earning immense popularity in 2000. Despite airing more than two decades ago, the show is still regarded as a classic among idol fans. Clips featuring the cute baby and god members at the height of their fame continue to circulate online, and the series is now available for streaming on Wave.
This reboot will follow TXT as they experience parenting alongside a baby. Produced as a digital series, it will explore how the new cast brings fresh charm to the original concept.
The New Stars: Tomorrow X Together
TXT, a five-member boy group - Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai - under BigHit Music, debuted on March 4, 2019. Known from the start as the “younger brother group” of BTS, TXT swept rookie awards at major year-end and early-2020 ceremonies, achieving a grand slam in recognition.
Since their debut, TXT has focused on a bright and refreshing concept while experimenting with various musical genres. Unlike many idols, their title tracks are known for unusually long and distinctive names.
