Kangmin of the group VERIVERY will release his first solo single album ‘Free Falling’ this March, marking his first step as a solo artist seven years after his debut.
On March 10 at midnight KST, Jellyfish Entertainment released a trailer video titled “KANGMIN 1st Single Album [Free Falling] Trailer : I’m free falling” through the group’s official social media channels, confirming that Kangmin’s solo album will be released on March 26.
The teaser video features Kangmin with wet hair standing in the rain, accompanied by the sound of falling raindrops. He looks downward before blinking slowly, creating a calm and serious mood. Toward the end of the clip, the title of his first single album ‘Free Falling’ and the release date March 26 are revealed.
Although the video focuses closely on Kangmin’s face, it effectively highlights his pure and delicate atmosphere, heightening anticipation for his solo debut.
The album title ‘Free Falling’ has also sparked curiosity among fans, as they wonder about the meaning behind it and what kind of music and message Kangmin will deliver through the release. Having gained extensive stage experience through his group activities since debut, Kangmin is expected to showcase a new side of himself through this project.
Earlier this year, Kangmin successfully held solo fan meetings in major Asian cities including Seoul, Hong Kong, Osaka, Yokohama, and Taipei, strengthening his presence as a solo artist. He also expanded into acting by appearing as Kim Ieon in the premium short form drama 'Jump Boy LIVE' on KITS.
Kangmin’s first solo single album ‘Free Falling’ will be released on March 26 at 6 PM through major music platforms, with additional promotional content to be unveiled sequentially.
