aespa surpasses 1 billion cumulative streams on Spotify

aespa racked up another impressive feat on Spotify!

According to Spotify's most recent update, the SM Entertainment girl group officially surpassed a whopping 1 billion cumulative streams. After debuting on November 17, 2020 with the single "Black Mamba," the quartet reached the mark 866 days later.

With this, aespa have become the third-fastest K-Pop girl group to hit 1 billion cumulative streams on the platform, after NewJeans and TWICE.

Currently, the group's top 3 songs on the platform are "Hold On Tight" at over 18 million streams, "Illusion" at 91 million plays, and "Black Mamba," which currently has over 178 million streams.
