Former GLAM member Kim Si Won (formerly known as Dahee) earned hundreds of millions of KRWs (thousands of dollars) by receiving nearly 7 million star balloons (sponsorship donations) in November through her streaming.

According to Poong Today, a site that tracks the number of star balloons for streamers, Kim Si Won received 6,756,530 star balloons last month, taking first place in the Afreeca TV star balloon rankings.

2nd place Seya received 4,707,309 (about 518 million KRW ~437,000 USD) of star balloons, 3rd place Commander Zico got 2,841,592 (about 310 million KRW ~260,000 USD) of star balloons, and 4th place Aron got 2,144,712 star balloons (about 240 million KRW ~200,000 USD).

The price of a single star balloon, a paid sponsorship item on Afreeca TV, is 110 KRW (~0.093 USD). The number of star balloons Kim Si Won received during 12 hours of streaming over a span of five days in November amounted to 743.21 million KRW (~ 628,008.21 USD).

Her income is expected to be higher if you add the direct donations she received and her YouTube revenue.

Meanwhile, Kim Si Won, who was a member of the group Glam under the stage name of Dahee, blackmailed Lee Byung Hun and demanded 5 billion KRW (~4.2 million USD) in cash back in 2014. Lee Byung Hun immediately filed a complaint with the police, and Kim Si Won was arrested on charges of attempted blackmail. She was sentenced to imprisonment at the first trial, but on appeal, the sentence was reduced to a suspended sentence of one year in prison and two years of probation.
