ZE:A's Hyungsik and Han Hyo Joo are in talks to star in the upcoming tvN thriller drama 'Happiness'.
According to reports on April 15, Hyungsik has been cast in the lead role in the apocalyptic thriller series, but his label United Artists Agency clarified, "He's optimistically reviewing the drama."
'Happiness' will be set in a time when an infectious disease runs rampant and has become a normal, everyday for citizens. In a new apartment in a big city, class discrimination becomes a major issue when a new diseases causes intense thirst in people. The series will be directed by Ahn Gil Ho and written by Han Sang Woon, who collaborated for the drama 'Watcher'.
If cast, Hyungsik will be playing the role of violent crimes detective Jung Yi Hyun, who works for the common good. Han Hyo Joo is also in talks to play the female lead, Yoon Sae Bom.
'Happiness' is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2021.
