Fans turn their backs on Seungri following the Burning Sun assault controversy

Even fans are turning their backs on Big Bang's Seungri

Burning Sun, the club operated by Seungri, has been making headlines for days after alleged victims came forward with stories on how they were physically and sexually assaulted at the establishment. Despite the buzz, Seungri has been remaining silent on the issue, and netizens, as well as fans, are disappointed by Seungri's irresponsible behavior.

One fan page has even shut down. The fan with the Twitter username MoonlightsR_ stated, "I'm closing my account. I have nothing more to say. He might not have a direct relation to the assault but didn't he mention it himself multiple times that he runs the club? There's no way he didn't know. Even if he didn't, would he be able to leave out the head (of Burning Sun in the issue) if he was the victim? He definitely has to take responsibility."

Other fans also agreed and are demanding Seungri take responsibility.

What are your thoughts on the issue?

Honestly it's just too much of a coincidence for Seungri not to have been aware:

1. He resigns one week before this whole scandal blows up

2. He said publicly that he's different that other CEOs because runs his businesses personally and oversees the day to day activities.

3. For the employees to be able to pay off the police without having any connections nor be celebrities themselves is just impossible. Someone with connections is the only one that can make something like that possible.

4. For a payoff to have been made to the police for that large of a sum (I'm sure it had to be) as CEO, Seungri would've had to sign off or at least been made aware.

5. Controversies as big as these would've been at least been made aware to management.

So somehow between all these things, Seungri would've had to have known about it somehow. He can't just feign ignorance. That's why him getting away with just saying he's no longer CEO is not an adequate explanation. Also, top ranked articles on Naver about this whole controversy are being deleted left and right and only people with connections and money are able able to make this happen. IT'S ALL TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE.

A thorough investigation is necessary and Seungri needs to make a statement publicly.

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED: The club threw Kim out of BS because he harassed women in the club. This exact man had already two precedents of sexual misconduct! And what did Kim do after that? He said he protected a woman of drugs & rape with the 'proof' being a video of a drunk woman, from a different day, that HIT staff inebriated & was dragged out.

RECEIPTS to prove Seungri is innocent:

The TRUTH about the CCTV footage (translation of a Letter From The Security):

"The woman provoked and attacked other guests, and broke the laptop when we were trying to stop her. When she was brought out, before the police came, I was beside her. She hit me and another staff by the face with her fist, we didn’t do anything. She was rude to the police as well. She was brought to the police station due to vandalism, violence and interference of public duties. The next day, she paid compensations and wrote a letter and bought a new computer."

Was Seungri there? NO HE WASN'T. Burning Sun has already clarified that he was not there and was not involved in any of the incidents. Seungri went to Hyoyeon's show, which was on the 23rd of November not the 24th

Is Seungri the CEO? NO! According to an ex-BS official, Seungri was NEVER the CEO! He is an INVESTOR and only a publicity representative of the club, so he has no says in how the club is managed. The most recent update of the company analysis report is from 2018/05 and proves there were at the time only two CEOs, the current ones: Lee Moonho and Lee Seonghyun (not Lee Seunghyun, which is Seungri's real name. There is a difference!!)

Are the incidents RELATED? NO! According to the security, Kim was hit on 24/11 and the women was dragged out of the club on 1/12!

Let the Blue House investigate this case. You're not a official investigator. And over 250k South Korea citizens said so.

Weird that all this came after fans complained about YGs treatment of Seungri. Is this YGs way of keeping him down?

I dont want to accuse him of anything without prove. So far we dont know if he knew about the whole thing, but i feel like fans are being harsh on seungri because of the prior scandals, mainly in japan. Seungri is someone that like party a lot and people dont exactly seem him in the same light as taeyang or daesung, which are more quiet and well behaved. I think seungri at this point needs to speak and be more upfront as possible, dont let space for any doubt, i feel like there is a lot of people ready to tear him apart. there is one thing people love more than building someone up, which is tearing someone apart.

This whole situation is disturbing and shady, but until I see proof of Sengri's involvement, he is innocent. No one should turn their backs on him yet, because association is different than involvement. Naturally, he is being associated with his club, but whether he was involved or not is entirely different.

I said this before though in another article, if he isn't involved, I hope he does become involved by shutting the club down temporarily and investigate what happened, and what still might be happening.

My God, yes, he should take responsability if he's involved, but these people seem to have made their minds that he is guilty (and yes, I am aware the situation is shady but we're just making outside assumptions till the whole story is revealed). What happened with "innocent unless proven otherwise"? And besides, it's only been like what? 2 days? 3 days? This is a sensitive topic and Seungri's a celebrity. He needs to make a statement but he also needs to get prepared for it, we're not talking about a concert or a simple misunderstanding, but sexual assault and violence! If he says something that can even slightly be taken the wrong way people are gonna jump at his throat no matter what the truth is, so I understand why there has been no statement from Seungri nor YG yet. So just wait for now, gosh darn it! I'm not even a VIP but I'm getting irritated lol.

I dont think NETIZENS know the meaning of "Innocent until proven guilty"!! They just want to play the Judge, and Jury themselves, they dont care what the law has to say, heck even when its finished If he is proven not guilty (which i hope he is) They will say its bullshit and paid off or bribed or influenced, it never ends.... If he is proven to have any involvement and found guilty in anything then i will accept it (saddly) But I will not play Judge and Jurry like so many hatful netizens..

If you are a fan you don't drop the person because of a whiff of scandal or because of big headlines claiming "He had to know!!!!!!!". You wait until the situation has been fully investigated and the actual facts published THEN you make an informed decision. People who run off half cocked because of sensationalist headlines are not fans, they are brainless idiots.

Ok this will definitely be an unpopular opinion here, but is it just me or is there's anyone else out there who doesn't give a fuck about his involvement in this! Him, knowing and resigning or not knowing, the police corruption, the drugs, ect;;; how the fuck does this hurt you or affect you in anyway.. aside from his music and other entertainment activities, I consider the other stuff as part of his private life,, if this happened to another club, no one would give a damn shit about it or the owner at least! Grow up people!! if you want to make a fuss about things, do it to real problems in the world and don't just get offeneded for the sake of it! How more sensitive can you bitchs be!! (and this is just me ranting to whom it may concern, feel free to leave a down vote, I don't care and PS: I'm not even a fan of seungri or big bang or any other YG group so don't get to me with the excuse of being blinded as a fan, I just have seen this issue escalte so much in the span of two days and felt the urge to comment on it!!)

so far this is no evidence that Seungri had any involvement in these cases.

The only thing they have is a few employees saying he knew about drugs in the club.

At this moment everything is circumstancial with no empirical

Guys please wait until everything is released!!!

Y'all really milking the shit out of this.. Other sites have dropped 3 articles max and are waiting for real updates.. I'm tired of reading what if Jennie kai etc bts breathes etc, Seungri's blah blah.. Report some kpop news, give rookies some shine like you used too.. 3 years back, I got all my music drops & debuts etc news solely from this site.. Either quality has really fallen or motivations have changed to clickbait.

No they didn't lol. Is Allkpop getting paid to write these kind of articles? Did Seungri assault anyone? Was Seungri a victim at the club? Was Seungri a witness of the incident?

One can't even say that Seungri is innocent because a) he has done no crime to begin with, b) he is not under any sort of investigation, c) you need to be suspected of something in the first place to be proven innocent. Seungri has nothing to do with this.

At this rate, with all these scandals, YG would have resigned 10000000 times. With assault happening everyday, the president of SK would prob need to resign too.

Brains, people. It's a good thing to have.

One week #SeungriDeservesBetter.... Next week... FCK Seungri, TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!.... yep makes A LOT of sense..... Yall ARE FAST to turn your backs LOL, before anything is even proven! Some of you people just don't care.. I mean REALLY don't care.. If you did care about someone or someones life, you would hold your judgments until the investigation is done and the facts are reveled and the judgment is made... but nope, so many people will make their own judgment, they will play Judge, Jury,,, and if they are not careful..... "Executioner"... some people really need to think about that last one..... Hateful ass Netizens go a head keep going... lets see how fast you can ruin someones life... and who knows... end it? If I remember correctly,,, I think it was pretty well brought to the public's attention that artists are struggling behind the scenes with sever mental health and bad effects from Netizens, hatefulness, and stress, and depression.... I mean I'm just saying.. There for awhile it was all "support all artist, no more hating and bashing, save our artist lives"... yeah that always goes away REAL fast when a scandal hits... If hes found guilty on any thing related then so be it, but let that judgment be made by the LAW!!!

My opinion:

- Seungri was never the CEO but just an investor, but when he was on I Live Alone, he bragged that he was the owner/hands-on for publicity

This obviously backfired cos he really wasnt running it & most likely didnt know/need to know details of all club incidents.

I believe he really just did business with the wrong pple, but he should make a statement soon.

Doesn't sound like your a fan, or that you believe in him...V.I.P.'s are known for patients... And honestly taking his time might be smart, he has himself as a public figure must always be careful in sensitive situations on what they do say in statements. It's the same in the states with things like this.. They have to be careful and understand the whole situation before make a fast statement.. Fast not thought out statements could lead to even bigger misunderstanding. He also has to get all the facts and information to be able to accurately give his statement so that he wont be misunderstood more than its already become.

This has got to be one of the dumbest comments ive read so far... One, he stayed back yes because he wanted to do a solo comeback.. because well lets see,,,,, HEs only had one chance to do a solo,,, years ago.. And the other members have had 2+ or more, well except TOP lol i love TOP he should do more solo activity.. ANYWAYS. This was a good chance for him... Nothing greedy about it... The other members knew what he wanted to do... Besides he wasnt even at mandatory age to HAVE to join when they did... A LOT of groups dont all join together... so again Whats your issue??? He has no right to try and make a successful solo career like the others, is that what your saying? He should have just joined the military like a good little boy and not give himself a chance? And talking behind the members back.. no... just no... Seungri is KNOWN for is haha talking self, the members are well aware of how he is, they have even talked about it on TV shows WITH seungru present, and they laugh about it, because he isnt talking shit he is being Seungr the panda,, period...
