T.O.P has reconnected with global fans through a striking pictorial with GQ Hong Kong ahead of his long awaited solo return.
The former BIGBANG member revealed the photoshoot, just ahead of the release of his first full-length solo album ‘ANOTHER DIMENSION' on April 3 KST.
In the pictorial, T.O.P showcased contrasting charms, pairing a crisp white shirt with a black leather jacket. He exuded a calm yet commanding presence, delivering a restrained charisma while dominating each frame with his distinctive visual style.
In an accompanying interview, T.O.P reflected on his nearly decade long hiatus. He shared, “For almost 10 years, I focused solely on music. I poured everything into creating, and it was a very constructive and productive time.”
Discussing the upcoming album, he added, “This time, I experimented with a narrative approach and complex sound structures that I’ve never tried before. I hope listeners will experience a wide range of emotions.”
‘ANOTHER DIMENSION’ features a total of 11 tracks, including double title songs ‘Turn It Crazy! (Studio54)’ and ‘DESPERADO,’ highlighting T.O.P’s wide musical spectrum. All tracks are mixed in Dolby Atmos, promising an immersive and dynamic listening experience.
The album also stands out for its high profile collaborations. Renowned American artist Ed Ruscha and art director Chae Kyung Sun, known for her work on Netflix’s ‘Squid Game,’ participated in the overall design and visual direction. Cinematographer Kim Ji Yong, who worked on projects such as ‘Decision to Leave’ and ‘A Bittersweet Life,’ is also reported to have overseen the music video production.
T.O.P’s first full-length album ‘ANOTHER DIMENSION’ will be released on April 3 at 6 PM, with pre-orders currently available on major online music platforms.
