Koyote’s Shinji was brought to tears after receiving a heartfelt proposal from her partner Moonwon.
On April 1, a new episode titled “I got proposed to” was released on the YouTube channel 'shinji-jidaeng’, capturing the emotional moment when Moonwon proposed to Shinji.
The couple spent the day at Lotte World with staff, enjoying rides and sharing a rare outing together. Shinji, who revealed she had never visited the theme park outside of work events, appeared to fully embrace the joyful experience.
As the day unfolded, the two sat down on a bench for a quiet moment alone. Moonwon asked how she felt about spending more time together lately, to which Shinji replied that although she sometimes feels physically tired, she remains happy because she loves what she does. She added that understanding Moonwon’s efforts to be careful and considerate made her even more mindful of him.
Soon after, Moonwon surprised her by handing over a small recording device. Inside was a pre recorded message saying, “Will you marry me?” He then presented a ring and personally asked, “Will you marry me?”
Caught completely off guard, Shinji reacted with shock and emotion, saying, “What is this?” before tearing up. Overwhelmed, she initially told him not to do this, but her tears reflected the depth of the moment. Moonwon gently placed the ring on her finger and added, “Let’s stay happy together like we are now.”
Shinji, visibly moved, thanked him for his efforts and responded with a kiss. When Moonwon asked for her answer, she replied, “I will marry you,” confirming her acceptance of the proposal.
Moonwon also revealed that he had prepared another surprise waiting at home, leaving Shinji touched by his thoughtful planning. She expressed how unexpected and meaningful the proposal was.
Meanwhile, Shinji and Moonwon, who is seven years younger and also a singer, have been in a relationship since June of last year. The couple announced their upcoming wedding via social media in January and are set to tie the knot this May.
