DAY6’s Wonpil joins ITZY’s Yuna for ‘Ice Cream’ dance challenge

DAY6’s Wonpil showed his support for labelmate ITZY’s Yuna by joining her ‘Ice Cream’ dance challenge.

On April 1 KST, ITZY’s official social media released a video of Wonpil and Yuna performing the choreography together. Filmed in what appeared to be a practice room, the two displayed natural chemistry and bright energy as they took on the song’s signature moves.

Yuna captivated viewers with her lively and confident performance, while Wonpil added a different charm with his slightly shy yet steady rhythm and smooth movements. His playful and lovable personality further enhanced the lighthearted atmosphere of the video.

The collaboration drew attention as a meaningful interaction between artists under the same agency, JYP Entertainment. Previously, Wonpil had expressed his support for Yuna in an interview, saying, “Since we’re from the same company, it’s not competition. I hope she does well.”

He had also shyly commented on the possibility of participating in a challenge, saying they would gladly do it if asked, while jokingly wondering if they might cause any trouble. Following those remarks, the collaboration becoming a reality delighted fans, who responded warmly to the duo’s “wholesome senior junior chemistry.”

Meanwhile, Yuna recently made her solo debut as ITZY’s second soloist following Yeji, releasing her first mini album ‘Ice Cream’ along with the title track of the same name on March 23.

Wonpil, on the other hand, returned with his first solo mini album ‘Unpiltered’ on March 30, promoting the title track ‘Love Ward’.
