Hit tvN drama 'Signal' might be returning with a second season this year.
On January 30, scriptwriter Kim Eun Hee talked plans for 'Signal 2' with TV Daily. She stated, "I should be careful with my words but I think it'll be nice for it to air within this year."
Kim Eun Hee continued, "I want it to be 'Signal 2' when I make a comeback. It might be difficult because everything needs to fall together and the actors' schedules need to be available but it's true I have desires for 'Signal 2," and added, "Director (Kim Won Seok) and I have discussed it and said it has to be aired in 2019 for it to be meaningful."
'Signal' starring Jo Jin Woong, Lee Jae Hoon, and Kim Hye Soo is a fantasy action thriller about detectives from two different time periods solving crimes together. The drama recorded high viewer ratings of 12.5%.
