Broadcaster Shin Dong Yup, along with actors Suzy and Park Bo Gum, will once again take the stage as hosts of the prestigious 'Baeksang Arts Awards' this year.
On April 2, the 'Baeksang Arts Awards' organizing committee officially announced that the trio will serve as MCs for the 62nd ceremony, set to take place next month at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul.
This marks the eighth time the three stars will host the ceremony together, continuing their long-standing chemistry. Individually, Shin Dong Yup will be hosting for the 12th time, Suzy for the 11th consecutive year, and Park Bo Gum for the 8th time.
Shin Dong Yup, widely regarded as a master of live broadcasting, has played a central role in the awards since first hosting the '42nd ceremony' in 2006. Over the years, he has established himself as a pillar of the Baeksang stage. This year, he will also appear as a presenter, handing the Best Male Variety Performer award to its next recipient, a category he himself won last year.
Suzy continues her remarkable streak, marking 11 consecutive years at the 'Baeksang Arts Awards' since first hosting in 2016. She remains a defining icon of the ceremony, consistently bringing elegance and charm to the stage.
Park Bo Gum also returns for his eighth stint as host. Since debuting as an MC at the '54th ceremony,' he briefly stepped away due to military service but made a notable comeback at the '58th ceremony' immediately after his discharge.
Meanwhile, the '62nd Baeksang Arts Awards' is scheduled to take place on May 5. Nominees across television, film, theatre, and musical categories will be officially announced on April 13.
