As soon as singer Minzy appeared before Jang Jin Young he commented, "There had been a thin line between us that we couldn't cross," referring to the fact that he's at SM while Minzy used to be under YG. Minzy then laughed and said, "To meet like this..."
Once the training began, Minzy said, "I usually sing in a bass tone." After hearing her, Jang Ji Young then said, "Sing just like you did now but with more pressure." Minzy sang in harmony with her instructor on the keyboard. He pointed out various things and Minzy took in all the information and adjusted her vocals.
After the lesson, she stated, "There were some basic things I already knew. However, there were things that were pointed out that I can work on. Now I know which way to turn, I enjoyed it [the training session] so much."
