ADOR has appointed Lee Do Kyung, previously its vice president, as the company’s new CEO. The company announced on August 20 that Lee’s appointment aims to enhance its planning and management system for artists’ activities, including music production and live performances.
Last August, ADOR had appointed Kim Ju Young as CEO, focusing on separating production and management, optimizing organizational structure, and placing human resources effectively to stabilize operations. The board has determined that these goals were successfully achieved. With Lee now at the helm, ADOR plans to shift toward a faster decision-making structure and an operational system that provides more direct support for its artists.
Lee joined HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) in 2019, contributing to the company’s overall vision, business strategy, and various new ventures. In 2022, he was promoted to Vice President of HYBE Music Group’s HYBE IPX, overseeing projects such as artist merchandise, pop-up stores, light stick sales, and the ‘THE CITY’ initiative.
“With Lee’s appointment, ADOR has established a support system capable of providing immediate assistance for artists and a highly optimized personnel structure,” the company stated.
ADOR currently manages NewJeans and has been preparing to launch the next-generation boy group, including hosting a global audition this past June.
