Comedian Lee Soo Geun will take on the role of MC at fellow comedian Kim Byung Man's wedding.
According to Kim’s agency Sky Turtle on August 19, Lee will host the ceremony set to take place on September 20 at Sebitseom, located on the Han River in Seoul.
The two comedians, both alumni of KBS’s comedy program auditions, have shared a long-standing friendship. They appeared together in multiple comedy skits and co-hosted JTBC’s 2011 variety show 'Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society'.
Kim Byung Man’s bride-to-be is a younger non-celebrity. The couple has already registered their marriage and currently lives with their two children in a new home in Jeju Island.
Debuting in 2002 as a 17th-generation KBS comedian, Kim rose to fame through the popular 'Master' segment on 'Gag Concert'. He later gained recognition for his athletic and martial arts skills on SBS’s 'Law of the Jungle' and TV Chosun’s 'King of Survival: Tribal Wars'.
