On February 22, 'The 6th GAON Chart Music Awards' took place. Many K-Pop artists joined the ceremony and among them were BTS. The group performed "Save Me" and "Blood, Sweat & Tears".

After watching their stage, Big Bang fans in Korea claimed that BTS has copied the setup and concept from T.O.P's 'no signal' performance. As you can see below, BTS' stage starts off with the 'no signal' screens, similar to T.O.P's solo performance at Big Bang's concerts.

This is not the first time BTS is accused of copying Big Bang. Last year in May, VIPs and ARMYs around the world got into a heated debate about BTS' alleged plagiarism

Korean VIPs are upset and furious and they believe BTS continues to "copy."  Because of this, they are demanding an apology with the hashtag #노_시그널_사과해주세요, meaning #No_Signal_Please apologize.

Currently, many Big Bang fans are expressing anger with comments, "Big Bang was first to apply 'no signal' into their performance. You have to accept the truth", "YG need to take legal action", "They copy everything!", "Why are they keep copying! Let's cheer up TT"

On the other hand, some netizens commented, "Hul~ lol this is unbelievable. This is too far of a stretch," "Big Bang didn't invent sh*t. Why should they apologize, "Do a search for 'no signal' and you will get millions of results. Overreaction at its finest."

You can check out BTS' controversial 'no signal' stage setup in the clip above. Below is T.O.P's performance. What do you think of the plagiarism accusations?

well my opinion is that, yes, it's a little similar, but nothing to go crazy over. obviously, knetz always make something out of nothing, which most people know. the thing that annoys me though is that lots of armys here are slamming all vips saying "they're not mature" and that bigbang "didn't fucking invent things". I get that there were some vips who did this, but this is in no way representative of the whole fanbase? and slamming bigbang too, who wasn't even directly involved? as big fans of both groups (both an army and vip) this is getting out of hand. its not like armys have been perfect little angels, speaking as an army, but also not trying to say that vips were perfect either.

Gaon already issued an apology and took responsibility with the vcr. But i bet the vips who immediately demanded apology from bts without asking for explanation will not apologize for their reckless accusations. just

from the beginning of their debut. if they're making mistake and the mistake was clearly from their side, they always issue apology.just how many times rapmon apologizing on behalf of bts. but its clearly not their mistake, the whole performance by all artist from an event are  made by the event organizer.people need to be chill and logic.

Both BIG BANG and BTS are copying Americans so VIPs can stop pretending that BIG BANG  are so original

Yesterday was WAR between fandoms, I respect bigbang and bts as much, and if I could, I would side with both of them. I think that the best thing to do is to wait for YG to speak about it right ? If he doesn't say anything well we know that he doesn't give a sht about it right ? BTS should apologize or not or is at fault, YG should be the one deciding right ?

No offense but I always saw Big Bang in them since "run" era.....the hair and the outfit were just TOO similar to be an accident but then again they have said many times that they are fans of Big Bang and considering this is the second time I feel like the company should apologize not BTS

balladlover dsk21 Thursday, February 23, 2017

Neither BTS nor the company is at fault. Read this: [enter-talk] BTS PLAGIARISM CLARIFICATION read this before you say anything else

They were accused of plagiarism more than two times and why are you using the phrase "because they're fans". Their motive behind the music is different from BIGBANG's. All those claims of plagiarism took a toll. Being a fan is not concrete evidence to present forward. A lot of groups are fans of BIGBANG. Don't bring up fanboying in this, because they never plagiarized to begin with. Don't fans buy the clothing their idol wears, wouldn't they be plagiarizing then?Or what if my mom got me a blouse and when i wore it to school a classmate has the exact same blouse but bought it a few weeks earlier? So that's plagiarizing then?

news flash: bigbang didn't fucking invent shit or concepts. wake up.

twinklefairy dsk21 Saturday, March 4, 2017

Are you really going to use "hair" as a case in point on similarity??? So if i shave my head on both sides then i am copying taeyang??? No one owns a hairstyle honey your argument is weak AF

xD  When I guess BigBang is also a  plagiarism group if listening to this narrow minded and honestly stupid  fans.. What a joke!  If you don't understand something, don't  say anything  at all making a total  fools out  of yourselves . BTS never copied BigBang and what?! Plagiarism? Go learn about what the word means first. Apologies  my ass, i feel sorry for BigBang for some reason, didn't  know VIps were so narrow  minded.

jayan Friday, February 24, 2017

As I said narrow minded people half of which silly little fan girls, who doesn't understand anything really, but going around talking nonsense disliking comments that don't even get and losing their heads over idols. I can only laugh seeing this.
