Actor Nam Goong Min responds to harsh criticism of 'Our Movie'
On June 15, Nam Goong Min spoke out regarding harsh criticism of the drama 'Our Movie' through a post on his personal social media.
He shared a screenshot of a 10Asia article discussing the show's low viewer ratings on his Instagram story and wrote, “Despite the provocative headline, I saw that you actually watched our drama. Thank you so much.” He continued, “Even though the current ratings are low, I am very confident.”
Nam Goong Min added, “So please, just give us your attention until episode 5. And if by then there’s still no clear rebound, feel free to scold me harshly with words even worse than humiliation and failure. It will be my responsibility.”
SBS Drama 'Our Movie'
The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Our Movie', which premiered on June 13, tells the story of Lee Je Ha, a film director with no future projects, and Lee Da Eum, an actor who believes today may be their last - two people whose love can't be postponed until tomorrow. The first episode recorded a solid nationwide viewership rating of 4.2%, but ratings dropped down to 3.0% for the second episode.
While viewers are speculating on various reasons for the ratings decline, Nam Goong Min emphasized, “Please watch until episode 5,” expressing his confidence that the show will rebound. As a result, attention is expected to continue on how the ratings for 'Our Movie' will develop.
