Lee Kang Hee, CEO of JDB Entertainment and representative of celebrities including comedians Kim Jun Ho and Kim Dae Hee, is facing allegations of having an extramarital affair with a girl group member identified as' B.'
On June 17, several sources within the entertainment industry told TenAsia that Lee, who is married with two children, had been involved in an affair with B. According to the sources, the two frequently met alone after official schedules and were seen holding hands and hugging late at night in public.
One official from the performance industry claimed that Lee was often spotted picking up B in a luxury imported vehicle and going on private outings. “Even in group settings, B always sat next to Lee,” the source added.
An executive at JDB Entertainment, referred to as 'C,' revealed that Lee admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with B. “The company staff recently became aware of the affair. Given the gravity of the matter, the company is currently reviewing what disciplinary actions to take against Lee,” the executive stated.
Lee Kang Hee, is married with a wife and two children, has made several appearances on the popular MBC variety show 'Point of Omniscient Interfere,' responded to a June 16 inquiry from TenAsia by saying, "I cannot say anything at this time," when asked if the affair allegations were true.
B is a member of a girl group under another entertainment agency for which A serves as CEO. A became embroiled in an affair scandal after photos emerged showing him engaging in physical affection with a girl group member from the agency he leads.
JDB Entertainment stated that they are currently verifying the facts surrounding the allegations involving A and B. The company added, “We sincerely apologize for causing concern over this matter.” Meanwhile, B has deactivated her personal social media account.
