
On June 17(KST), K-pop boy group ENHYPEN and rising girl group Hearts2Hearts were officially appointed as cultural ambassadors for the city of Seoul.
During the event, ENHYPEN expressed their gratitude, stating, “Seoul is where we began our musical journey and where we first met ENGENE [fandom name]. It’s a city full of charm in everyday life. We’ll work hard to ensure people around the world love Seoul as much as they love K-pop.”
Hearts2Hearts, a rookie girl group gaining attention for their fresh image, also shared shared that Seoul holds a special place in their hearts as the city where they began chasing their dreams, and expressed their honor in being chosen as ambassadors. They promised to share Seoul’s beauty and spirit with the world and to help the city shine even brighter with their energy.
The ambassadors will actively promote the city's charm, raise awareness of Seoul’s global brand value, and participate in diverse campaigns and cultural initiatives over the next two years.
Also appointed alongside ENHYPEN and Hearts2Hearts were broadcaster Um Jiyoon, YouTuber Park Wi and his wife singer-actress Song Jieun, actor Kim Seok Hoon, and pianist Sunwoo Yekwon.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN recently released their 6th mini-album DESIRE : UNLEASH on June 5, while Hearts2Hearts is gearing up to drop their new digital single STYLE on June 18.
