BTS’s J-Hope once again proved his legendary devotion to fans with an extraordinary show of appreciation during his return to music broadcasts after nearly two years.
On June 17(KST), J-Hope participated in a pre-recording for Mnet’s M Countdown at CJ ENM Studio in Paju. Approximately 1,000 fans gathered on-site to support him.
In an unprecedented gesture, J-Hope personally rented out a large studio to provide a comfortable resting space for fans who would otherwise be waiting outdoors for long hours without designated facilities.
He didn’t stop there—J-Hope prepared care packages that included lunch boxes, desserts, drinks, perfume sets, lip balm, and photocards, thoughtfully catering to fans down to the smallest detail. Many were moved to tears, with some saying, “It’s the first time a singer made sure we ate.”
He also included a heartfelt handwritten letter:
“I hope this message gives you strength while waiting. I’ve prepared this stage with the desire to give you the best performance. I love you, ARMY.”
Hints of this fan gift had been shared earlier during a listening party livestream, where J-Hope said, “Isn’t the weather quite hot? I’ve arranged a space where ARMY can rest. I hope you like it.”
Social media quickly filled with fan reactions: “I’ve never seen an artist like him,” “The AC in the rented studio made such a difference,” and “J-Hope is pure love.”
J-Hope also shared a photo of an ARMY Bomb and finger heart on Weverse, writing, “ARMY, are you ready? I’m looking forward to your fan chants for the new song.”
On June 13, J-Hope dropped his new single “Killin’ It Girl,” first revealed during the encore of his world tour. The hip-hop track delivers the thrill of falling for someone at first sight, paired with a powerful and sexy performance that lives up to his reputation as BTS’s dance leader and a world-class performer.
J-Hope’s M Countdown stage will air on June 19(KST).
