On December 31, Song Min Ho performed "Shoot!" with HaHa on 'Infinite Challenge.' After the airing, netizens took to social media to praise Song Min Ho on his genius lyrics and wordplay.

On the online community site Nate Pann, one of the top trending topics was a post titled 'Looks like Song Min Ho will be on the blacklist for his song on 'Infinite Challenge.' The song talks about the political corruption that is going on in Korea right now, hence "blacklist." Netizens universally praised Song Min Ho in the comments and some even stated that he's the next Tablo.

Twitter user @chrissy96_ has a great explanation on the cleverness in the lyrics.

Mino can act dumb sometime and goof around a lot but that doesn't mean he is actually dumb.  He's very smart.

wow amazing word play even for people that are not korean he did a great job in delievering his lyrics well with a punch we were able to understand where his inspiration came from and what era he was trying to show love it was not expecting that Mino that was cunningly good.

Half of you don't even know why he is being praised for his "wordplay and lyrical genius."  And raise your hands if you gave him shit on any of the 5 articles that were printed here at allkpop or elsewhere about his lyrics on SMTM4 concerning hiding daughters and going to the gynecologist????

Nope I did comment back then comparing it to American rap and hip hop and pointing out that it's a basic styling for diss raps. I do think I said something about how conservative Korea was though and that his previous lyrics back then would probably get him in trouble. I grew up with Dr Dre, Snoop Dog, Nate Dog, and Warren G. Regulators talks about 'hoes on the curb' so Mino never came across all that bad. He is good with his lyrics but I would expect nothing less considering the songs they have already produced.

This gave me goosebumps. Can't wait for more music from Mino and Winner.

I urge everyone to watch this special hiphop and korean history collaboration project by Infinite Challenge. I would say this project is very timely and apt in the midst of the political turmoil in S. Korea.. it's super interesting how they collab w the most recognisable faces of korean hiphop to reach out to the younger generation on the nation's most popular variety show!

I hope the unnecessary discrimination against idol rappers ended in 2016. People like Song Mino, Zico, Rap Monster, Suga, Jooheon, Gdragon, Bobby, B.I, the lists goes on and on really, shows that there are many idol rappers that are rappers as well.

Niza_Normandie fxcx09 Monday, March 13, 2017

What discrimination is that? I did not have a clue...

Some 'real' rappers (what they call themselves..) hate idol rappers because they are only there because of their faces. They think idol groups are messing up hiphop and rap world. As for me, I got to observed, they hate them because 'most' idol rappers doesn't write their own lyrics and their goal is to make fans only. Rappers have this pride on their selves that's why. They think Idols are just pretty faces without talents and experiences about rapping.

Oh ok thank you so much.
