On the January 10 airing of 'Mr. House Husband,' U-KISS's Eli talked about his married life with his wife, Ji Yeon Soo.

When asked if his wife showed any symptoms of postpartum depression, Eli replied, "I looked up a lot about postpartum depression.  I learned that symptoms include being unable to sleep at night, being sensitive while working, and unable to control the temper. Looking at the symptoms, I thought, 'I feel like this is me.'"

When someone commented, "I hear that you had morning sickness instead of your wife," Eli said, "I threw up and got motion sickness when I didn't before.  I hear that if you love her a lot, you do things in her stead."

One of my friends said eli isn't going to be her bias anymore because he is married and has a kid and i am like " I still like him no matter what because its LIFE every idol is gonna get married and have kids some day"

I laughed at how he tried to make it seem like him getting her symptoms is because he loves her so much xD No, Eli, that's not it. Some men just get the symptoms. My stepdad was the same way with my mom. I think my mom told me that he even felt her contractions, lol. I never knew the name, but I looked it up and it's called Couvade syndrome. Apparently, it's not uncommon.

This is so cute! Not him getting sick but artists being married and stuff. I really like it. It normalizes them and I feel they would make better music if they were allowed to live like normal people. Slave idols is such a sad thing to watch.

What's he experienced is called Couvade syndrome, aka sympathetic pregnancy. It's normal

i heard about men getting morning sickness too but i never heard about them getting postpartum depression... weird

in my country, we have a belief that when a pregnant woman walks over her husband while he's asleep, she will be able to pass the morning sickness to him.. idk how real that is but it's interesting to hear Eli experiencing it.. XD
