Yuna of ITZY is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming tvN drama 'Miss Undercover Boss'.
On July 1 KST, a source from the drama production confirmed, “Yuna will be appearing in ‘Miss Undercover Boss.’”
The series is described as a retro-style office comedy set in the late 1990s during the turbulent era of the IMF financial crisis. The storyline follows the pursuit of corruption in the securities industry.
The main character, Hong Geum-bo (played by Park Shin Hye), is a 35-year-old elite investigator from the Financial Supervisory Service. She goes undercover as a 20-year-old high school graduate working at a securities firm to expose suspicious financial activity, leading to a series of comedic events.
Yuna will play the role of Hong Jang-mi, Hong Geum-bo’s younger sister. Her character is described as lively and energetic, bringing a charming and bubbly presence to the story. Yuna is expected to fully showcase her natural brightness and lovable charisma in the role.
This marks Yuna’s first official acting project. She recently wrapped up promotions for ITZY’s 10th mini album “GIRLS WILL BE GIRLS,” released on June 9, and has since begun filming for the drama.
Meanwhile, ITZY is set to perform at Waterbomb Seoul 2025 on July 4 at the KINTEX Outdoor Global Stage in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.
