BOYNEXTDOOR successfully concluded their Japan encore concerts for their first solo tour, 'BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR ‘KNOCK ON Vol.1’ ENCORE IN JAPAN', with three days of sold-out shows from June 28 to 30 at the Keio Arena in Tokyo.
Following their completely sold-out Japan concerts during the initial leg of the tour in January and February, the group once again demonstrated their explosive popularity in Japan by selling out every seat for the encore performances in record time.
To make the encore shows even more special, BOYNEXTDOOR enriched the setlist with newly prepared cover stages. Divided into two units, Myung Jaehyun, Leehan, and Woonhak performed Creepy Nuts’ hit track “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” while Sungho, Riwoo, and Taesan covered Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s beloved summer anthem “Ao to Natsu (青と夏).” Their stages were met with deafening cheers from the crowd. The former trio brought fierce energy with their high-tempo choreography, while the latter appeared in school uniforms, evoking a refreshing burst of youthfulness.
The group also performed a range of fan-favorite songs including Korean hits like “I Feel Good,” “Nice Guy,” “But I Can’t Tell My Parents,” and “So Annoying,” alongside their Japanese original song “GOOD DAY.” They also delivered Japanese renditions of viral cross-national hits like “One Day I LOVE YOU,” “But Sometimes,” “One and Only,” and “Earth, Wind & Fire,” to an ecstatic response.
At the end of the emotionally charged performances, the members shared heartfelt words with fans:
“Thank you for always making us happy. Because ONEDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR’s fandom) keeps telling us we’re doing well, we gain the courage to keep pushing forward. Thanks to you listening to our music, our songs have become the BGM of your youth. We’ll keep working hard so that BGM never stops. We love you every single day.”
Looking ahead to their upcoming final concerts in Seoul, they added, “We’ll be showing you a stage that’s 180 degrees different. Please keep watching as ‘KNOCK ON’ continues to evolve.”
BOYNEXTDOOR is set to wrap up their first solo tour in Korea, with a final set of concerts taking place from July 25 to 27 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul.
