A hilarious series of events involving SHINee's Minho and EXO's Kai has been unfolding over the past couple days.
Currently, Kai, Minho, Chanyeol, Changmin, and more artists from SM are in London for the special 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in London' concert on June 28. Minho has been open about the fact that he's enjoying his time in London, doing group workouts with Changmin, Kai, and Chanyeol, and even getting to tour Emirates Stadium. While the group posted multiple running pictures while looking happy, Kai has now revealed the true reality of their group run, led by Minho.
Kai's Bubble post:
"I'm tired
I'm tired because I went on a run
I'm making things hard for myself for no reason
I felt good while running but by the time I posted on Instagram, I was tired"
"I wanted to post this picture too
That was so hard
I'm gonna take a nap for the first time in forever...
While I was running, I kept thinking, How is that hyung (Minho) talking?
How is he taking videos?
How is he taking photos?
Later on I found out that he's ridden a bike all the way from Busan to Seoul before.
Ah, so it's like that..."
Changmin quickly noticed Kai's Bubble post, and jokingly called Kai out:
"Kai had asked to jog with Minho and I in London. So we did. He didn't even look tired. Then I found his messages on his Bubble that it was actually so exhausting. I feel strangely betrayed. I just talked about this with Minho. We should take him with us again"
Kai then continued the hilarious saga by adding more detail to his side of the story:
"Like a fool, I woke up early today. (Kim Jongin, why didn't you sleep for 10 more minutes)
So I ate breakfast
And to help with digestion I went to the gym to do a very light workout, which was where I ran into Minho hyung and Changmin hyung.
Happily, I went "Hyungs! Let's exercise together!!"
When I finally came to my senses, I was already on a run with them.
I realized I had made a huge mistake not even 5 minutes in.
After the run, I silently wiped away my tears in my hotel room."
Kai then posted a few pictures of his text exchange with Minho from the night before, where he had carefully avoided agreeing to go on a run with Minho:
Kai revealed that the following morning, he had come downstairs to work out after thinking that the others had already left for their run. Unfortunately, he accidentally ran into Minho and Changmin in the gym, and ended up going for a run with them after all.
Minho finished off the hilarious interaction by posting a few gym pictures with Changmin and Kai:
