Taewoon compared his brother Block B Zico's success in the music world to his own.

On the September 27th broadcast of SBS PowerFM's 'Kim Chang Ryul's Old School', DJ Kim Chang Ryul asked how younger brother Zico feels about Taewoon starting to make a name for himself. Taewoon expressed, "He likes it, but he worries more. He told me that I need to start doing really well from now on."
He also said, "I was happy that Zico was doing well at first, but I was caught offguard when he got so big. Right now, Zico is my hyung."
