Oh My Girl's YooA says she couldn't promote with her real name because of Junsu

On the August 24 installment of 'Radio Star,' Oh My Girl's YooA relayed an interesting back story regarding her stage name.

She revealed on the show that her real name is Yoo Si Ah and that she had wanted to promote under her real name.  However, she changed her mind because it overlapped with the name of JYJ's Junsu (who goes by XIA, pronounced the same way).


She said, "My agency CEO told me that I would get a lot of hate if I promoted as Si Ah." Well, YooA is a cute name for you!
