Lee Seung Gi's latest whereabouts have been revealed through an unexpected encounter at a department store.
On August 11, comedian Lee Yong Sik's daughter Lee Soo Min posted a video titled "Eiel was always going out | 80-Day Baby's First Outing Vlog" on her official YouTube channel. In the video, she was out shopping at a department store with her father when she unexpectedly ran into celebrity couple Park Soo Hong and Kim Da Ye. Park Soo Hong greeted Lee Yong Sik and Lee Soo Min. His wife also greeted the family and even swapped babies to hold.
As they were leaving the department store, they also ran into comedian Lee Seong Mi. Lee Yong Shik remarked, “Was there some kind of celebrity gathering today? We met Park Soo Hong and also Seung Gi.” When Lee Seong Mi asked, “You saw Lee Seung Gi?” he confirmed that they had.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung Gi, who had faced controversy involving his in-laws since shortly after his marriage, revealed in April that he had officially cut ties with them two years after the wedding, following his father-in-law’s arrest. At the time, Lee released an official statement addressing news of his father-in-law’s additional indictment, saying, “This incident has irreparably damaged the trust within the family. After much deliberation, my wife and I have decided to sever ties with her family.”
Lee Seung Gi married actress Lee Da In, daughter of actress Kyeon Mi Ri, on April 7, 2023, after two years of dating. The couple welcomed a daughter last year. The arrested Mr. Lee married Kyeon Mi Ri in 1998.
