On the July 21 airing of SBS powerFM's 'Cultwo Show,' John Park explained why he doesn't use English as often anymore.

The DJs said, "A few years ago, we saw John Park interviewing with EBS radio, but he replied to an English question in Korean, so we laughed." They asked him why he did that and John Park responded, "It's become a habit not to use English. When I speak in English, I heard, 'You're showing off,' and, 'You seem cocky.' That's why I practiced Korean a lot. Seeing as how I don't use English, my tongue has hardened, and Korean has become comfortable for me."
Well, that's sort of a shame about English...
