Is Song Jae Rim spiking a volleyball or your heart with his cute smile in his cute uniform? Okay, yes, that was cheesy. Moving on, the upcoming web drama, 'Heart Thumping Spike' (previously known as 'There's Something Special About Us'), dropped two posters featuring its main stars Song Jae Rim and Hwang Seung Un!
The drama will first air via Sohu.com and Sohu TV on February 20 in China. It was made to take the baton from popular web drama in China, 'High-Class Unrequited Love,' which previously stared Jung Il Woo and Jin Se Yeon. It will be aired ever Saturday and Sunday following the premiere for ten weeks.
The drama centers on 'Volleyball Goddess,' Sera (played by Hwang Seung Un), who is as gorgeous as she is talented. She becomes the coach for the male volleyball teach at a high school (are we all supposed to suspend belief and convince ourselves that Song Jae Rim is now in high school?). There, a romance blooms between her and Jae Woong of the volleyball team, which is dead last in the entire nation.
