Singer Son Dam Bi revealed that veteran actor Ahn Jae Wook helped her overcome the controversy surround her acting skills.

The August 28th broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Star Life Theater' highlighted Son Dam Bi's everyday life. It was here that Son Dam Bi along with�Kahi had stopped by a florist to pick up some flowers. The two evoked curiosity as to who they were for, and the lucky man was none other than Ahn Jae Wook. Son Dam Bi had selected him as her acting mentor, as he had helped her get comfortable and adjusted on the set of 'Light and Shadow'.

"This was my second attempt at acting, but the way people viewed me from the beginning was not all that great," she said. "To be honest, it was only a small minority of people, so I wondered if this was something worth being bothered by. I thought that eventually viewers would like the character of Chae Young... honestly, I always asked a lot of questions about the things I didn't know or was unsure about. My seniors helped me out a lot, and it's sort of a relief that people said Son Dam Bi the singer was nowhere to be seen in this drama. It felt good to hear that."
