Veteran female vocal group SeeYa, once hailed as one of the defining girl groups of the 2000s, are finally reuniting as a full group to mark their 20th debut anniversary.
SeeYa will officially return to the music scene on March 30 with their new single “Still Here, Still Us,” their first release together in 15 years.
The track is led by renowned producer Park Geun Tae, who previously worked with the group during their peak and helped create many of their hit songs. The new release is expected to highlight SeeYa’s signature emotional depth and powerful vocal harmony.
Adding to its significance, all three members personally participated in writing the lyrics. The song reflects the longing, regret, and heartfelt emotions they were unable to express during their 15-year hiatus, as well as the miracle of reuniting once again.
With two decades of experience, the members return with even deeper vocal color and harmony, promising a moving, drama-like listening experience. According to insiders, the recording session was filled with emotion, with the members breaking down in tears multiple times, especially during the chorus, leading to several pauses. Despite their voices faltering from emotion, they continued re-recording to fully capture their sincerity.
Producer Park Geun Tae shared, “This single contains all of SeeYa’s time and sincerity. It will prove to be more than just a reunion track.”
The members added, “We poured everything we’ve held in our hearts over the past 20 years into this song. During recording, memories kept flooding back, and we couldn’t stop crying. We sincerely hope our feelings reach the fans who have waited for us.”
On the day of the release, March 30, SeeYa will also hold a fan meeting in Jongno, Seoul, where they will meet fans in person. The event, which the members actively participated in planning, will reflect on their past 20 years while marking the beginning of a new chapter together.
Following this pre-release, SeeYa are set to release a full-length album in May, featuring top producers including Park Geun Tae and Kim Do Hoon.
