IU revealed which 'LILAC' track she loves most.
In her latest YouTube video 'Short time long see in Palette (With IU)', IU discusses her latest album 'LILAC', which featured "LILAC" and "Coin" as title songs. However, IU revealed her most favorite lyric was from the track "Epilogue", sharing that the first verse in its pre-chorus was very important to her as a songwriter.
She expressed, "I wrote the lyrics before the song came out. I wrote as prose, and when the melody came out, I wanted to deliver it in 'Epilogue'. I thought it would be good. The lyrics formed in 30 minutes." IU added that "Epilogue" was also her favorite song on the album, explaining, "All of my songs are precious, of course, but this song contains the message I really want to deliver. I cherish 'Epilogue'."
