
TAEMIN of SHINee continues his activities toward the global stage.
On February 2nd local time, Taemin appeared on the popular program ‘iHeart KPOP with JoJo’ on U.S. radio channel 102.7 KIIS FM. Meeting veteran DJ JoJo Wright, he engaged in a wide-ranging conversation that drew attention from local fans.
Expressing excitement about appearing on U.S. radio again after a long time, Taemin shared, “I want to gain diverse experiences in LA, where there are so many people who make music,” adding, “If my U.S. activities increase in the future, I think it would be nice to have a place to stay locally.” His remarks hinted at anticipation for expanded activities in the United States.
He also conveyed his strong determination ahead of the upcoming ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’. Taemin stated, “Beyond simple excitement, I feel a strong sense of responsibility to really deliver,” and added, “Since this is an opportunity that doesn’t come easily, I want to fully showcase the career I’ve built and my qualities as an artist.” His comments further raised expectations for his Coachella stage.
In addition, Taemin revealed his professional side by sharing that he carefully manages his physical condition and personally pays attention to details ranging from tour planning stages to differences in venue acoustics. He also hinted, “I’m working on new music in collaboration with great people in the U.S.,” heightening curiosity about his future musical direction.
Finally, Taemin delivered a heartfelt message to fans, saying, “I’m grateful to everyone who loves my music and journey. I want to repay the love I’ve received, and as I’ve taken on new challenges recently and grown another step, I hope fans can gain positive inspiration through me.”
Meanwhile, Taemin continues his strong global rise through appearances on major U.S. radio and broadcasts, as well as sold-out performances in Las Vegas. He is set to reach a new peak in his global activities by taking the stage at the ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ this April.
