MONSTA X opened their new world tour with an even more powerful full-group presence.
MONSTA X held ‘2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR ‘THE X : NEXUS’’ for three days from January 30th to February 1st at KSPO DOME in Seoul.
This concert marked their first world tour in about four years since ‘2022 MONSTA X ‘NO LIMIT’ TOUR IN SEOUL’, as well as their return to KSPO DOME about six months after ‘2025 MONSTA X CONNECT X’ last July. In particular, it was a full-group performance held ahead of I.M’s enlistment on the 9th, making it even more meaningful. The final day’s show was livestreamed online via Beyond LIVE, delivering an unforgettable moment to global MONBEBE.
Opening with ‘DRAMARAMA,’ MONSTA X showcased the group’s foundations through a title track medley that continued with ‘Love Killa’ and ‘Rush Hour.’ They radiated distinct energy from the start with nonstop performances of ‘LONE RANGER’ and ‘Catch Me Now.’
They shifted the atmosphere with ‘MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT,’ then deepened the show’s immersion with performances highlighting the members’ musical capabilities, including ‘Deny,’ ‘AND,’ and ‘Tuscan Leather,’ further solidifying their narrative.
Another highlight of the concert was the solo stages, which condensed each member’s unique musical color and strengths. Shownu delivered controlled yet powerful dance lines through ‘Around & Go,’ while Kihyun fully displayed explosive vocals and charisma with ‘Howling.’
Hyungwon presented a sensory performance reminiscent of water imagery with ‘NO AIR,’ and Minhyuk added emotion by playing guitar live during ‘Reaching.’ I.M brought intense energy with DJing in ‘ERROR 404,’ while Joohoney once again emphasized his solid musical identity with the title track ‘STING (Feat. Muhammad Ali)’ from his recent mini album and the B-side ‘To the Sky (Feat. Tiger JK).’ The differently colored solo stages proved not only the group’s completeness but also the musical spectrum each member has built, raising anticipation for MONSTA X’s diverse future stages.
Beginning with ‘Autobahn’ and title track parade of ‘Beautiful Liar,’ ‘Alligator,’ and ‘Shoot Out,’ the group once again stamped their reputation for flawless performances. Near the end of the concert, a surprise teaser video was revealed, previewing the new song ‘growing pains,’ set for release on the 6th, heightening fans’ expectations.
The Seoul stop of ‘THE X : NEXUS’ was a stage that encapsulated MONSTA X’s musical achievements built over the past decade and their synergy as a complete group. Connecting past, present, and future in one flow, MONSTA X proved they remain artists in constant evolution, meaningfully opening a new chapter through the world tour.
Through Starship Entertainment, MONSTA X shared, “We prepared this concert focusing on what kind of stage MONBEBE would like, and we felt how much they truly enjoyed it on stage, which made us proud. Thank you for always cheering passionately and enjoying the show with us. We believe this concert was completed thanks to MONBEBE. Since it was I.M’s last stage before enlistment, we wanted to end it meaningfully, and we’re relieved we were able to truly enjoy and happily perform. MONSTA X will continue running nonstop in 2026, so please look forward to it and keep supporting us. We love you, MONBEBE!”
After successfully wrapping up the Seoul concerts, MONSTA X will head to Japan for the ‘2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR ‘THE X : NEXUS’ IN JAPAN’ arena tour, performing in April at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay in Chiba and in May at Ookini Arena Maishima in Osaka, before continuing the world tour across Asia and South America.
