
Director Park Chan Wook’s film ‘No Other Choice’ has been nominated for a Golden Globe Awards category in the United States.
On December 8th (local time), the Golden Globe Awards announced the list of nominees for the upcoming 83rd ceremony, which will be held in January next year. ‘No Other Choice’ was nominated in the Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language category.

Lead actor Lee Byung Hun also earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, placing him in competition with Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Timothée Chalamet, and others.
Established in 1944, the Golden Globe Awards is a prestigious ceremony that honors outstanding achievements in film and television worldwide. Among Korean films, 'Parasite' and 'Minari' have previously won awards.
‘No Other Choice’ follows the story of Mansu (played by Lee Byung Hun), an office worker who feels he has finally reached a satisfying point in life—only to be abruptly fired. Determined to protect his wife, two children, and the home he worked so hard to secure, he prepares for his own battle toward reemployment.
