Jang Won Young has unveiled a new side of herself. From the purest, clearest expressions to mysterious and enchanting gazes, as well as ambiguous and dreamlike looks, she revealed faces she has never shown before.
Jang Won Young stars in D’ICON Issue 31, titled “One & Only”—a phrase she used to define herself in the magazine’s interview. She expresses a color and identity that no one else can replicate. D’ICON captures her singular presence across 168 pages, divided into four distinct concepts.
For the first time, D’ICON presents a horizontal wide-format photo series, allowing fans to experience Won Young’s expressions, gaze, and aura in a more detailed and immersive way.
Type A captures Jang Won Young’s natural face. Stripped of heavy makeup, it emphasizes her fresh, pure charm. Under the morning sunlight, her clear and radiant eyes stand out.
Type A comes with three supplements: a mirror acrylic keyring, a digital camera card pack, and a photocard set. The digital camera card pack includes seven photos of Won Young with a vintage aesthetic.
Type B represents a Christmas gift from Won Young. It conveys the excitement, warmth, and love associated with the holiday season. Fans can even enjoy a “human Christmas tree” wrapped in lights.
Type B includes holiday-themed extras. The acrylic keyring features Wonyoung in miniature form, and the frame stand set includes both a postcard from the photoshoot and a stand.
Type C recreates a princess enchanted by medieval magic. A black dress, pale skin, and red lips create a striking, otherworldly atmosphere. Dark expressions and dreamlike gestures spark the imagination.
Type C’s supplements are items fans can enjoy all year. A wall-sized monthly calendar, an ID photo, and a case to store it all are included.
Type D presents Wonyoung as the protagonist of a Hong Kong noir film. Wearing a black suit, she exudes cold charisma. Her expressionless face seems to absorb every nuance of the cinematic lighting.
Type D’s extras are equally cinematic. An acrylic photo stand holds the included photocards, while the secret card set contains personal messages from Wonyoung exclusively for her fandom, DIVE.
D’ICON Issue 31 also explores Wonyoung’s inner thoughts. An in-depth interview details her journey to becoming “One & Only”, while a TMI Q&A gives fans a glimpse of her current tastes. Staff testimonies reveal insights into her unique way of thinking.
