
Wanna One member turned solo artist/actor Park Ji Hoon has soared up to claim the top spot in individual male K-Pop idol brand value rankings for the month of March, according to the Korea Brand Reputation Index.
From February 14 through March 14 KST, the Korea Brand Reputation Index analyzed big data of 755 male K-Pop idols in areas including consumer participation, media activity, communication, and community activity. The analysis results found that consumer participation increased by 42.80% from last month, with Park Ji Hoon's individual brand engagement skyrocketing by 3,129.24% from February.
The singer/actor came out on top for the month of March with a total of 12,995,643 brand points, more than double the score of 2nd place, which went to Jimin of BTS with 5,012,359 points. Jin of BTS followed behind in 3rd place with 3,603,550 points. Among Park Ji Hoon's brand activity were keywords such as Tanjong, The King's Warden, and Yoo Hae Jin, demonstrating the immense success of the historical film starring Park Ji Hoon which has thus far drawn 12 million audiences to theaters as of March 11 KST.
Meanwhile, the top 30 individual male K-Pop idols in terms of brand reputation rankings are for this month: Park Ji Hoon, Jimin of BTS, Jin of BTS, G-Dragon, Jungkook of BTS, Hwang Min Hyun, V of BTS, SUGA of BTS, Kang Daniel, Baekhyun of EXO, RM of BTS, Ong Seong Wu, Sunghoon of ENHYPEN, Heechul of Super Junior, Kyuhyun of Super Junior, Siwon of Super Junior, Kai of EXO, Yang Yoseob of Highlight, Bang Ye Dam, Wonbin of RIIZE, Kim Jae Hwan, Minho of SHINee, Yunho of TVXQ, Key of SHINee, Jun of Seventeen, Dohoon of TWS, Juyeon of The Boyz, Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER, and Bae Jin Young.
