On March 13 KST, former Hello Venus member and actress Lee Hwa Gyeom (given name Lee Yooyoung, 31) announced her marriage, taking place later this month.
She wrote via her Instagram on this day,
"Hello, this is Lee Hwa Gyeom.
It feels like only yesterday that we greeted the first day of the New Year, but it's already started warming up with the arrival of March.
Are you all doing well and staying healthy?
I would like to deliver a piece of personal news today to the cherished people who have supported me all this time.
I have decided to promise a new chapter of my life at the end of this month.
I have met someone who I am ever thankful for, someone who is like my closest friend at times, but also like a big umbrella on rainy days, and I intend to walk this path of life with that person by my side.
I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank those of you who have always supported me, and I will continue to do my best to greet you with a good image as actress Lee Hwa Gyeom.

Meanwhile, Lee Hwa Gyeom debuted as a member of the girl group Hello Venus using her given name Yooyoung in 2015. After concluding her girl group activities, she adopted the stage name Lee Hwa Gyeom to resume her career in acting. Most recently, she appeared in the ENA drama 'Salon de Holmes' in 2025.
