Model Moon Ga Bi spoke out against the unauthorized use of her son’s photos in AI-generated videos, urging the public to stop creating and spreading manipulated content that distorts her family’s daily life.
On November 5, Moon Ga Bi addressed the issue through her social media account. She wrote, “On October 30, I shared several photos to update my followers on my recent life. They were simple, everyday moments between a mother and her son. However, I have never publicly revealed my child’s full face in any photo or video.”
She continued, “Despite this, an unrelated account used my photos without consent to produce and distribute an illegal AI-generated video, making it appear as if I had publicly shown my child’s face and made official interview statements. The images and captions in that video are entirely false. They were created by illegally modifying my original photos using artificial intelligence.”
Moon Ga Bi strongly requested an end to such actions, saying, “These falsified photos and videos that distort the daily life of a mother and her child are clear violations of the law. I sincerely ask that such behavior stop immediately.”
Earlier, Moon Ga Bi had uploaded several photos to her social media without any captions. The pictures showed her smiling with her son, who appeared to have grown noticeably, sharing affectionate moments such as walking together and wearing matching outfits in a family look style.
Moon Ga Bi announced the birth of her child on November 22, 2023, through social media. It was later confirmed that the father of the child is actor Jung Woo Sung. At the time, Jung’s agency stated, “The child whom Moon Ga Bi revealed on social media is indeed Jung Woo Sung’s biological son. The two are currently discussing the best possible approach to child-rearing, and Jung will do his utmost as a father.”

“On October 30, I shared several photos to update my followers on my recent life.
They were ordinary moments between a mother and her son. However, I have never publicly revealed my child’s full face in any photo or video.
Nevertheless, an unrelated account used my photos without consent to create and distribute an illegal AI-generated video, falsely presenting it as if I had revealed my son’s face and given an official interview.
The images and text in that video are entirely fabricated and were created by illegally manipulating my original photos through artificial intelligence.
I ask that these unlawful acts, including creating and sharing false photos or videos that distort a mother and child’s daily life, stop immediately. Please, I sincerely request this.”
