On October 30, Moon Ga Bi shared several photos of her son, without any additional comments.
In the photos, Moon Ga Bi and her son wore matching outfits and smiled brightly, showing the happiness of a loving family even without a father present.
Last year, Moon Ga Bi revealed her pregnancy, saying, “I took the courage to live a little more ordinary happiness as a mother. I will be a healthy mom filled with love and happiness.” It was later revealed that the father of her son is actor Jung Woo Sung, who is 16 years older than her. Jung Woo Sung’s side stated that while he would not marry Moon Ga Bi, he would take responsibility as a father, which sparked public controversy. Additional rumors about Jung Woo Sung’s personal life, including alleged infidelity, further fueled the discussion.
Moon Ga Bi addressed allegations that she became pregnant without dating Jung Woo Sung and demanded marriage for child support purposes. She also clarified claims that she gave birth without an agreement after being refused marriage. She explained, “Since meeting at a gathering in 2022, we got to know each other better and had a good relationship, which continued until the last day of 2023. Since a day in January 2024, I have not met the person identified as my child’s father even once. I never asked him for marriage or anything else because of the pregnancy.”
She added, “We both did our best in our relationship, and choosing to meet the child, who came as an unexpected gift during a natural and healthy relationship, was the decision of both parents. There were moments of excitement, laughter, and happiness with the child in my womb. Simply judging this child as a mistake or predicting unhappiness just because our current relationship looks different is not right.”
Following this, Jung Woo Sung publicly apologized at the 'Blue Dragon Film Awards,' saying, “I apologize to everyone who sent love and expectations, and for causing concern and disappointment. I accept all criticism and will bear it.” He also confirmed, “As a father, I will fulfill all responsibilities toward my son.”
