Actress Jeon Yeo Bin has returned with a character that seems tailor-made for her.
Genie TV’s new series 'Ms. Incognito,' starring Jeon Yeo Bin, premiered on September 29 and 30. Episode 1 recorded a 2.4% viewership rating, and Episode 2 jumped to 4.0% (Nielsen Korea), doubling in just one day.
'Ms. Incognitio' is a crime romance drama about a poor bodyguard (Jeon Yeo Bin) who enters into a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman (Moon Sung Geun). To avoid the powerful forces scheming for the inheritance, she must hide her identity and survive for three months. Episode 2 drew positive responses as it quickly unfolded the process of her arrival in Muchang Village as Bu Se Mi.

Director Park Yoo Young previously expressed trust in Jeon Yeo Bin at the press conference, saying, “I’ve admired her since her independent film days and thought of her as an actress who excels at conveying inner emotions. She can persuasively express a character’s feelings not only through dialogue but also with just her eyes. While filming, she was an enormous help.”
Though the somewhat ordinary title may have initially seemed like a hurdle, 'Ms. Incognito' has rebounded in ratings thanks to its fresh storyline and strong performances. With the romance with Jinyoung set to unfold from Episode 3 onward, attention is now on whether Jeon Yeo Bin can surpass ENA’s previous Monday-Tuesday drama 'My Troublesome Star' (peaking at 4.3%) and even continue the legacy of ENA’s highest-rated drama, 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' (17.5%).
