
On October 16, model and television personality Lee Hyun Yi shared on her social media that she suffered a broken nose during a soccer match.
In the photos she posted, Lee can be seen wearing a cast on her nose while receiving treatment in a hospital, drawing sympathy from fans.
She updated her followers on her recovery, saying, “I got a little too excited during the soccer match and ended up breaking my nose. So, I’m taking a break from soccer for now and catching up on things I hadn’t had time for. Fortunately, I’m recovering well and my nose is back to normal. Thank you to everyone who was concerned.”
Previously, Lee Hyun Yi had revealed on SBS’s 'Kick a Goal' that she often sustained injuries. She mentioned, “I even lost four toenails,” surprising singer K.Will. She added, “I received all the workers’ compensation from SBS. Since many people get hurt, the system is fully in place.”
Regarding whether she views 'Kick a Goal' as work or play, Lee said, “If I only thought of it as work, I wouldn’t have been able to do this much. Everything else is personal, but 'Kick a Goal' is about the team. Because I have a team, I’m more passionate.”
