Actress Ji Ye Eun was absent from the recent filming of SBS's 'Running Man' due to health reasons.
On the October 12 broadcast, which featured guests Byun Yo Han, Kim Kang Woo, Yang Se Jong, and Bang Hyo Rin, the cast took a moment to address Ji Ye Eun's absence, which was first announced in August.
During the show's opening, cast member Yoo Jae Suk made a point to clear up any potential rumors. "Just in case people misunderstand, Ye Eun has talked about burnout before, but her current break has nothing to do with that," he explained. Haha agreed, emphasizing that burnout is not the reason for her break.
Yoo Jae Suk provided the specific reason, stating, "Ye Eun is currently undergoing treatment. She is resting because her health check-up results required it." He compared her situation to a previous case, adding, "It's a similar situation to Ji Suk Jin's past health break. She will return healthy as soon as her treatment is over." He ended on a positive note, sharing, "I spoke with her on the phone, and she said she's feeling much better now."
