On October 23, BLACKPINK's Jennie shared a series of photos on her social media, giving fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the group’s world tour.
In the photos, Jennie stunned in a daring outfit, pairing a white bra top and matching bottoms reminiscent of lingerie with a sleek leather jacket. She completed the ensemble with low-slung pants, creating a hip, ‘sagging’ look. Despite the revealing outfit, Jennie’s flawless figure and perfect proportions drew attention, with fans flooding the comments with praise such as “So beautiful,” “The outfit is amazing,” and “Ultimate level of sexy.”
The outfit is said to be a modern reinterpretation of 'Chanel’s 1993 S/S collection.' Inspired by the iconic designs that Karl Lagerfeld called “Chanel-style rebellion,” Jennie added her own flair. The bra top featured Chanel’s signature camellia embellishment, while long pearl necklaces and a gold chain belt added classic yet bold accents.
By highlighting lingerie while incorporating a structured silhouette with knit bands, Jennie achieved the concept of “luxurious rebellion.” Light-wash denim pants added a free-spirited touch, completing her perfect sagging look. Originally a male-dominated street style symbolizing rebellion and freedom in the 1990s, sagging has been reimagined by Jennie in her own unique style, setting trends in the process.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, having successfully concluded their North American and European tour, will continue to meet fans in major Asian cities, including Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. The group is also set to release a new album in mid-December.
