It has been five years since actress Oh In Hye passed away.

September 14 marks the 5th anniversary of the day Oh In Hye tragically lost her life at the age of 36.

In 2020, she was discovered in cardiac arrest at her home in Songdo International City, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, by an acquaintance and was rushed to the hospital. Although she briefly regained a pulse after CPR and emergency treatment, she never regained consciousness and passed away.

At the time, police reviewed CCTV footage around Oh In Hye's home and checked visitors, concluding there were no signs of foul play. To clarify the cause of death, an autopsy was carried out, which determined she had taken her own life, and the investigation was closed. No suicide note was found at the scene.

Back in 2023, netizens speculated about possible links between her death and circumstances involving the suicide of controversial YouTuber and reporter Kim Yong Ho, who had reportedly introduced Oh In Hye to influential individuals, including agency representatives and wealthy figures, under the pretense that she should "entertain" them. When it became apparent that Oh In Hye’s acting career was not advancing as expected, Kim Yong Ho allegedly introduced her to lawyer Huh Wang, a co-host on his infamous YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute.'

After an intimate relationship developed between Huh Wang and Oh In Hye, the actress later discovered that the lawyer had referred to her merely as a "body" in conversations behind her back. Overcome with a sense of deep betrayal, she left what many believed to be a digital suicide note on her social media, expressing her pain—something that was thought to have contributed to her tragic death.

Oh In Hye made her debut in 2011 with the film 'Sin of a Family' and went on to appear in productions such as 'Red Vacance Black Wedding,' 'A Walk in the Master Class,' 'The Plan,' and 'No Breathing.'

She also connected with fans through her personal YouTube channel and collaborated with singer Nautilus to release the single 'Sorry,' marking a new step as a singer. What made her passing even more heartbreaking was that she had continued communicating with fans up until the day before her death.
