Jiselle returns with new single ‘Baby Blue,’ marking the start of her 2025 music chapter
R&B singer-songwriter Jiselle has officially kicked off her second-half 2025 promotions with the release of her new single ‘Baby Blue’, dropped at 6 PM on September 7th KST.
Blending her signature emotional nuance with an ethereal soundscape, ‘Baby Blue’ is a dark R&B track that transforms post-breakup emotions into imagery of “fading blue light.” The song explores the lingering pain and sorrow at the end of a relationship, centered around the striking declaration, “I kill the memory of him.”
The lyrics delicately capture the fragility of fading memories, painted in cool, melancholic hues. With haunting instrumentation, the track navigates the inner turmoil of trying to erase someone while quietly confronting the grief that follows.
Notably, Jiselle participated in both writing and composing ‘Baby Blue’, offering a raw and intuitive portrayal of her inner world. Producers Maxx Song and beatzzbytazz also contributed to the track, enhancing its quality. The weighty bassline and restrained arrangement help intensify the emotional gravity of the breakup.
Having steadily built a distinct musical identity through a series of singles and collaborations, Jiselle now showcases a more mature emotional depth and sonic richness with ‘Baby Blue’. This release marks the beginning of her active musical slate for the remainder of 2025.
