After BigHit Music confirmed that BTS’s Jimin and actress Song Da Eun were once in a relationship, Korean netizens have been revisiting the pair’s past social media posts, speculating on "hidden evidence" of their romance.
One of the latest topics of discussion focuses on a Dior flower bouquet Jimin received. Fans noticed that the same bouquet appeared on Song Da Eun’s Instagram, sparking theories that it was a gift from him.

Another "hidden evidence" that was shared on a popular online community was Jimin's letter to fans. One netizen pointed out that Jimin had shared an interesting message to fans that could be a possible hidden message to Song Da Eun. The message was written on June 14, where Jimin wrote that he was happy to celebrate "the first day together after BTS’s debut anniversary." Some fans claim the message was a secret nod to Song Da Eun, whose birthday falls on June 14.

Translation: "Jimin: June 14 feels like January 1 in some way. After the team was formed on June 13, June 14 marks another year together. That's why I think it's that much more special. It'll be another year today. Let's spend another good new year starting today. I love you."
Netizens pointed out that it is odd how Jimin celebrated June 14 as a special day, which was a day after BTS's debut day.

Netizens also noted that Song Da Eun named her dog "Kangnyang," the same pet name Jimin has reportedly listed in a fan questionnaire, further fueling speculation that the two left numerous hints about their relationship through Instagram.
This latest post has sparked a heated debate among online users, with some being surprised by the alleged hidden evidence, while others argue that the speculation is overanalyzing and forcing connections without solid proof.
They commented:
"Legendary, lol."
"Did they really break up?"
"Why are people bringing this up again?"
"Let’s not overanalyze based on cropped screenshots."
"But it's so weird how he's celebrating June 14. Don't idols usually celebrate their debut day? Not the day after? I think he's just mentioning it because it was his girlfriend's birthday..."
"He wrote that letter on June 14, that's why..."
"If these were real hidden hints, it's legendary..."
"People are writing a whole novel about this..."
"Isn’t it just that Jung Hae In also got flowers because he’s a Dior ambassador? Jimin’s an ambassador too, so they both received the same bouquet. People are just pointing out that the flowers also showed up on her Instagram."
"Yeah, this. Since Jimin’s picture was in black and white, people wanted to prove it was from Dior."
"But honestly, even 'Kangnyang' was something a lot of fans mentioned to Jimin and SUGA..."
"The June 14 thing feels like a reach."
"So this post is supposed to prove that Jimin was dropping hints? Really? Sounds forced."
"Kangnyang was a nickname made by fans..."
"Why are people mad? He can’t date? He didn’t mock or deceive fans. Growing to resemble someone you love is natural. The people who are upset—have they never been in a relationship?"
"The agency already officially admitted it. Why are people still mad at posts like this?"
"They dated, fine. But now people are twisting even the letters he wrote to fans, and that’s the problem."
