The Netflix film 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' has claimed the top spot as the most-watched Netflix title of all time.
According to data released on September 3 by Netflix’s official site, Tudum, the film has amassed a total of 266 million views and 443.4 million hours watched. This makes it the most-viewed content ever across all Netflix movies and series.
Just two weeks ago, 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' was in third place, trailing behind 'Squid Game Season 1' (265.2 million views) and 'Wednesday' Season 1 (252.1 million views). However, with its rapid rise in popularity, the film overtook both titles in record time to secure the No. 1 position.

Netflix calculates its rankings based on cumulative viewership within 91 days of release. Since 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' was released on June 20, it still has about two weeks left in its tallying window, leading experts to predict it will hold onto its top spot for the foreseeable future.
The film follows a fictional K-pop girl group called HUNTR/X, who fight evil spirits and protect the world with the power of music. This fresh concept, blending K-pop and fantasy, has captivated audiences worldwide.

The film’s explosive popularity is also reflected in the music charts. The original soundtrack’s lead single "Golden" has maintained the No. 1 spot on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks.
This marks a historic milestone for K-pop, as only BTS’s "Butter" (10 weeks) and "Dynamite" (3 weeks) have previously topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three or more weeks.
